hi folks im new to the forum as i only had the car yesterday but only issue ive got ive got my i phone 7 blue toothed to the car but it wont let me call someone with the voice recognition on the steering wheel i am a pensioner and not great at this forum or tec stuff can anyone help?

I don't use it myself, but I believe the voice control button only works when the phone is actually plugged in via the USB. You have to use the telephone icon on main screen to call someone.

thanks for that my daughter has got the nissan leaf and hers works on her i phone 12 but it wont on the mg maybe its a software thing on the mg as i did what car review before i brought one and that was the only issue they came up with

Rightly or wrongly, it's by design, not a 'software thing'. You can only use the button on the steering wheel to initiate a call when the phone is connected via USB.
