After being a MG ZT owner for 23 years, I have decided to upgrade to the HS PHEV Trophy, after seeing a £10000 discount. Mine will have the Tan interior

Is there anything I should be looking out for on the delivery inspection.

Thanks

I have read in these forums some have negotiated free car mats & free granny chargers. But with that discount you may had a problem!
One other thing, check you have the latest software installed, most dealerships are obstructive (to say the least) to update once you are up and running.

I understand from searching that there is no standard software versions and it split into sections. So what latest versions should I be looking for ?

I am no expert, but looking at the forums, for your car (I'm presuming it is new 2026 - not new to you)
R16 is the most recent for the "MY25.5" HS PHEV (these have the infotainment with USB-C ports and Wireless Smartphone Mirroring i.e. Car-play / AA)
So the display should show a range of digits ending in R16.
(Pretty sure I will be corrected if there is any later versions)

Most likely the old stock with USB-A ports and Wired CarPlay, but I would take £10K discount and get a £10 dongle for wireless 😂

I asked the dealer nicely and got the granny charger on delivery day, call in advance to request the dealer that they update ALL the modules to the latest software during their PDI because otherwise it takes a whole day at the workshop.

No I checked USB C ports and wireless car play
