Pics of other cars you've had.🙂

This is the first car I still have a picture of - it was a good car, I gave it to a nephew, who ran it up to well over 100,000 :)

A couple of random Beemers I had just before the Mini Cooper

This is fantasy-land... but still enjoy them (yes, I'm Schumy's Dad!)

This was after a track day at Brands Hatch back in about 1998, I was still buzzing after a couple of hours whizzing round the track!

And this is my vocal group's Gig transport

Finally... not a car, but my other mode of transport - a LOT slower!

My first car - Triumph Herald circa 1979. 1966 - TDH 876D. cost £90 and could fix it with a hammer. No, repeat NO software issues 😂.
( Not sure who the eejit sitting on the bonnet was!! 🤷)
When I got it it was really badly oxidised - my mom polished it up one day when I was out, bless her. ♥️.
Furthest single trip I did in it was Wolves to Southend-on-sea, nay probs 👍

This could get boring real quick, hogging the limelight 'n' all - let me know 😉.....

First company car, Pug 205, 1.6 Gt-eye ( well, it was the first - oh for a 1.9 ♥️ )
1988.
Car long gone, shexy lady still here and a lifetime of awesome memories 😁

( yes, it was a v. hot day 🌞)

I believe the Herald was the last production car to have a reserve on the fuel tank. No excuses for running out unless of course you left the lever in the wrong place. 😂

Next bit.....
Following 15 years of company cars, taking generous voluntary redundancy package and enjoying 'the rave scene' {cough} for a few years, I ended up with these 2nd hand gems, simultaneously for a while, with not even a drive to park them on. Luckily a very understanding neighbour had a restaurant with a car park, again, bless 'im.
Around Y2K (ish)

For the more observant amongst you, hair today, gone tomorrow 😊

Volvo 740 gle - 245k on the clock, tan leather hide interior. Chrome filmed the windows for extra attitude 😂.

Merc 200t estate. Underpowered 2l. but so cool for cruising, 17 yr old no.1 son wanted it for his 18th.😎

Ford Econoline dayvan. 1st l/h drive, 1st 5l V8 . Well, if you're going to party it'd be rude not to. 😁

Aaaand with all 3, not a single s/w issue 😉 easier times.

Aaaaand, not one of mine but. A friend knocked this up in his back garden and took me for a speedy spin up the A30 in it a couple of years ago. Despite returning the favour in my 30kwh Kia Soul, I believe he has yet to get the call from the world of EV....

See where the exhaust is. You could definitely hear it from within what with lack of roof, windows, soundproofing, silencers, bonnet, etc....

The best car for driving!

We did the most miles in this Vectra. 500 mile range!!

Our first electric car - and possibly the most comfortable and a joy to drive (apart from the 60 mile range)

The worst? An Austin Marina
The most fun: A belt-driven DAF, until one of the 3 bands broke. Then I was a one band man!
