Hi, what do you think about K&N air filters or Pipercross foam filters?

Would you consider trying one if you found a compatible option for the MG3 Hybrid?

Because I might have found the right sized filter.

I don't mind a Pipercross filter, but I never considered one for my MG3 Hybrid, I don't think there would be any benefit really. But please give it a try and let us know.

The sound might be slightly sharper during full acceleration at around 77 km/h, and again at about 110 km/h.

The throttle response also feels a bit better overall, but there's no major difference.. maybe 0-100 km/h acceleration is slightly quicker. But it's hard to say because I have already winter tyres with studs and grip is not best.

Next week, I'll drive a longer distance on the highway and see how it affects fuel consumption.

can't see the point in this. A hybrid engine doesn't have any need for a performance air filter.

Why not? That engine breathes the same way and responds better to throttle at full gas. Fuel consumption has also dropped by 0.2 liters per 100 km. But now it’s hard to test any further because it’s slippery, cold, and snowy outside
