Is it just me? I placed my order for the Pod Home charger on 13th March, 7 days before I got my car.
Then there was the request for photos, then videos, then an appointment for a survey where the guy took his own photos and videos. He said the route I had selected wasn't possible as they can't work at height (I asked for the cable to be routed in a loft space above a single storey extension). This was after I specifically asked them to make sure their guy didn't turn up until after midday as I was in hospital in the morning. Their first survey, the guy rang me from my drive just as I was parking at St. Cross in Rugby. sigh! Then I had to wait a fortnight for their next survey slot.
So - to assist, I drilled a 22mm hole through my wall and ran some SWA CAT5 along the route, so all they needed to do when they arrived was joint the two cables, and pull theirs through. I have even cut a hole in the ceiling for them to take their cable through and one in the gate post for the other end.
I've given them scale diagrams too.
They gave me a date for installation - 21.04.26 - so I made sure everything was ready, route all clear, no obstacles inside or out. Then, the morning before I get an email telling me that they can't install tomorrow - unforeseen circumstances - they can do it on the 6th May!!!!
I only went with them as there was no upfront charge. My rant over - is there much point in cancelling and going with someone else, or just wait it out and granny charge between now and when they might install it?
