NB: Not definite and not until Autumn budget.
NB: Effectively between 5p and 10p per kWh reduction depending on the price you pay (assuming a range from 40p/kWh to 80p/kWh).

Fingers crossed it will happen but I am sceptical. Even if VAT is reduced it won’t take long for greedy charge point operators to put prices up again

Yes, it is a good point to question if operators will actually pass the whole cut on or just raise margins. Plenty of controversies over fuel prices in this regard.
