Purchasing Locking wheel nuts on HS PHEV

I queried this with the dealer and they said that the stealing of wheels is not a major issue any more, insurers are not giving discounts on premiums if you purchase locking wheel nuts. The MG dealer went on to say that the size of wheels, with 5 studs, fitted to the HS would not fit onto the pocket rockets run by today's yoof, there's no market for them.

Agree, with the above post. Also they can be a pain in the arse. They can break even relatively new ones. My advice, don't bother. 🙂👍

For what it is worth, my dealer told me exactly the same and I have been quite happy to have the car without the locking wheel nuts. I was initially uncertain because for as long as I can remember, I have always had them, but I am happy the way it is.
