Radar Parking

What is the Radar Parking selection for, when do you use it and how does it operate.
When I select it I get a continuous alarm sound if there is a car or obstacle near me.
When do you use the radar parking via the tab on the screen? What does it do.

One of the (very) few things that annoy me about my car is that it does not automatically switch on the front parking radar, at slow speeds. For example, if I drive forward to my closed garage door, it would not beep even if I was about to hit it.

The workaround is either:

• Switch on the 360 camera (shortcut on the bottom-right of the home screen)
• or 'swipe down' the main (home) screen, and switch on the parking radar

I wish it was automatic, but there you go.
