Radio (Pre-Facelift)

Probably just me being useless but is there anyway to stop the radio coming on when you turn the car on.

Mine seems to like to start-up in either FM or DAB mode, and often quite loud if i've been listening to music via carplay previously.
Also I notice it doesn't respond to the steering wheel mute button until a few seconds have passed since the car has started up.

Press and hold the button before you get out. Powers down the unit. When you get in it's off. Which gives you the chance to power up and simultaneously turn down the volume.

I wish we had access to volume sliders like in Android, I inadvertently turned down the media volume just as Google maps said something and it turned down the Google assistant voice. Only way to turn it up, is wait for it to say something and turn the volume up then, which of course requires a guess as to when it's speaking.
