MG3 hybrid newbe. Is it normal for the radio to stay on after switching off with the start/stop button? It goes off when I exit and lock the door.

I had the very same thoughts. Would have preferred it to go off with the ignition. Also I have forgotten to actually turn the car off, and only realise when the car beeps when I'm trying to lock it.

That happens to me constantly. It's always when there are people around.

Bloody impossible mate, but when I'm just about to get out of the car, the right hand goes for the keys, lol

Most of the new vehicles I drive at work have the radio stay on, some it goes off as you open the door others like the MG3 hybrid its when you press lock.
A day after I got mine I walked away pressing lock and didn't know why the horn honked, came back an hour later and realised I'd not pressed the off!! I like a key to turn
