Hi,

Just a community query on those who have the Trophy.

For me regen settings reset every time I get in the car which isn’t the same as MG4.

MG UK have ‘internally confirmed’ the trophy should be able to remember your regen settings. My sales guy says it resets on his car so I am looking for consensus before reporting it as a common bug to MG UK.
Same here (MGS5/UK) - was set to 1 when I picked up the car and never remembers any change to the setting so it goes back to 1 every time the car starts. My workround is to use one of the favourite buttons to change the settings but I'd much prefer it to remember it

I does remember..... to always go back to Default:sneaky:

You can select the LH star button to change the regen setting or select one pedal driving to fix it max regen. I use OPD all the time.

That's not what my dealer told me. He said:"Same as your mg4".

Btw, the manual stresses you should not use OPD on slippery roads and steep slopes. I know road conditions can suddenly change. So I need a button to quickly disable OPD (as advized, see manual). But they don't have the button and they failed to put it at the end of the regen sequence.
Page 223 of the manual says not to do ANYTHING in the infotainment system while driving. You first need to come to a full stand still. That is not always an option, particularly when driving on motorways. So how do I disable OPD without going into the menu?
The only way to quickly deactivate OPD is to switch to snow mode. But that means you need to have the modes programmed under either of the two buttons.

If MG sorts out such things I might have a look at their cars again. They can hire my SD and UI/UX teams if they need assistance.

OPD in my opinion is an unneeded solution to a problem that we didn't have.

Don't need it, don't switch it on, don't use it and the problems will disappear.
