Reversing 💡

Hi when I reverse only 1 light comes on on the back of the car on the left hand side. I can see there was an another light but it is not illuminated. Anyone else differ? I would assume it would be both sides lit up.

I've only just found out that mine is the same... I also assumed that both would come on. What is other people's experience?

Common for modern cars to have reversing light on nearside and fog on offside. Cheaper to deploy and cater for either LHD or RHD models.

We've just been playing, and can confirm @Everest points. The left hand one is the reversing light (white) and the right hand one is the fog lamp (red)

reason is legally there can only be one fog light on offside (so overtaking vehicle knows which side is which & avoid confusion with brake lights), so makes sense to have just one of each.
