Long story short, received a new S5 drove 1000kms and charged from 20 to 100% a few times to calibrate, now at 2000kms, 1 month old. Battery is at 97.22% max capacity (SOH). Measured within optimal environment.

Kinda disappointed, yes I know about the curve during the first 1-2 years but this still seems like a lot for a single month.

Anyone else experienced similar?

Note: app being used is Car Scanner as they have an MGS5 profile.
This image was 10 days ago, so it has lost about 0.30 since taken and yes when I do measure it is at 100% SOC, this was just the first image I could find:

State of charge or do you mean state of health?
i use car scanner and often the soc is lower than the car shows.

My ZS EV is now 1 year old and done 7k miles. The SOH is 100%. It is mainly home charged

Ahh apologies! Yes, you are right I meant SOH - thread has been edited now to reflect this. The ZS EV I assume is NMC?

Mine is a S5 Essence 62 model - which is LFP here, I assume this may be the reason why but it seems like a big drop when compared to yours.

Yes NMC. My home pv batteries are Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) and they are at 93% after 4 1/2 years. So your drop seems excessive to me

Oh, if it is LFP I wouldn't worry at all. As you mentioned they drop off quicker initially but then even out a lot more.

It drops more quickly both because LFP does that but also because there is minimal upper buffer (which masks the initial degradation in NMC batteries).

I think ours was down to 94% after the first year, but 93% the year after.
