Hi all,

I'm not with my car at the moment.
I think I know the answer to this, but am just checking here
Unlike my previous S5, I don't believe my S6 has a multi-height boot floor.

I seem to recall that when I looked, it was one height only

Is that correct?

Yes. And while we are on the boot... there is no way you will get a spacesaver (certainly in the 18-20 inch wheel size range) in there. But I 'knew' that.

Oh! And there are two (at least) flanged nuts holding that polystyrene block with the wheel stuff in. I might have a gander under it when the weather improves.

Is it possible anyone can measure this width of the boot? Want to compare with my HS PHEV. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, fixed height.

That is a little disappointing, just measured my mk1 HS PHEV and it is 102.5cm. Thought it will be wider as it’s a wider car.
The boot size quoted is misleading, I was disappointed when I saw the S6 in the flesh. The quoted figure for the boot is to the roof!

39 in/99 cm give or take 2 or 3 mm
Just a minor update. Using a better tape measure (yesterday's had a limited length!), and wearing my specs(!), the width is actually 39.5 inches/100.3 cm. Still doesn't make it to your HS PHEV measured width though.

Thanks Peter

The boot size on the HS PHEV was already not one of the biggest. The petrol HS was actually bigger. So it was disappointing to hear the width is smaller on the S6. I was hoping I could get 3 suitcases side by side in the boot as I couldn’t in the HS. Not a biggie.
