Our 2023 ZS EV has a random fault where doing normal day-to-day driving we get no issues, but if we are driving for a while like more than 40-60 minutes, the forward sensors fail, ABS and other safety features just error and turn off, We took it into the Dealership and they said they replaced the R7 relay. Less than 24 hours after the replacement it failed again. Took it back in for more "checks" and they said it's a blown fuse. They are blaming it on mice that were in the engine bay, but there are no chewed wires in there. Plus if it were mice, the issue would be more than now and then, with it resolving itself after an hour. Does anyone else have this issue or if they know of things like this, and if I can get the dealership to look into a possible fault?

It's happened to me on very rare occasions, it's the infotainment system that gets mixed up and needs to be reset by pressing the home key for about 15 sec to do a reboot.

Dealers .... !!!! I get a feeling that half the time they have no idea what are they doing. Having a fun experience with mine lately, they never seem to be able to pinpoint the fault but always happy to ask for extra £150 to diagnose more...

Guess they haven't offered to refund you for work carried on the R7 relay? Or the mice moved in afterwards so it's not refundable?

I had this Friday! I was at Tesco and whilst doing the shop we had a sudden thunderstorm, when I got into the car and started driving the car went Nuts! A multitude of failures and warnings even the steering angle sensor malfunctioned with banging noises from the steering when cornering. Anyway got it home parked up and left it overnight as it has a habit of repairing itself after it goes to sleep, but not this time. I removed battery terminals for 10 minutes or more to reset everything but still no dice all the failures remained. Luckily I thought I would try my obd dongle with Car scanner and cleared down all the codes and everything is now back to normal. I ask myself was it a coincidence that a thunderstorm occurred at the time of all the malfunctions my money is on it being the cause personally.
