Sat Nav not working.

I bought new mg3 hybrid 3 trophy.The in built sat nav will not accept any typed in locations ,although nearby points of interest work..Tried a factory reset to no avail.Anyone had similar issue and if so was the problem resolved .

Have you connected your smartphone to your MG3?
