Hi all.

I don't own an EV, but have been considering it.

Joined here to see what owners say about the MG.

A choice between MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona at the moment.

I love the look of both cars, but cosmetically the MG wins for me. However gadget / Equipment wise the Kona does...

2nd hand MG's are pretty cheap, even for low mileage ones, so thats another plus.

Shall ask the relevant question reference the MG in the appropriate thread

Welcome. New EV driver myself. Purchased an MG 5 Trophy and no problems so far. Did consider a ZS but really liked the ride quality and look of the 5. I did test drive a Kona and thought it was great.

Some great deals on second hand EVs out there as they come off lease.

Haven't experienced either the Kona or ZS but both seem like good practical options. Kona has either a small or a large battery if I remember rightly.

Neither are particularly fast at CCS rapid charging but they do offer it and if you've got a big battery and home charging you might not need to use it much.

Check out the EV database for the stats on them both.

Hello everyone,

I have just ordered an HS PHEV Trophy, we test drove a few different cars but the MGs really stood out and were also better value.

I really liked the MG S5 but we couldn’t quite commit to pure electric this time around.

The HS will be used on school runs during the week and longer days out on the weekend, I’m looking forward to not having to visit the petrol station so often..

What model of MG HS is this car in the picture. It is 2025. 1.5T or 2.0T.
I see it is littel different inside.
Can such a model be purchased in Europe? I've been researching the models a bit and I see that every region in the world has a different HS model.

I found on the MG motors uk website the new MGHS models with such an interior, but they are 1.5T

looks a bit like the facelifted MK1 HS 2019-2024, this one has two tone nose, there’s a standard one here Auto Trader UK - New and Used Cars For Sale
