Screen not returning to Apple CarPlay after reverse/360° camera

Quick Q for any iPhone users here!

I've seen a strange behavior/difference on how the infotainment system works depending on OS:

• Android Auto --> The car will automatically return to the Android Auto view after the reverse or the 360° camera is turned off
• Apple CarPlay --> The car will show the "home" screen after the cameras are turned off, forcing the driver to click the CarPlay button again to see the navigation f.e.

Is this the "normal" behavior or is there any setting to avoid this?

I usually drive using Android Auto, and discovered this today when my Girlfriend drove the car. Seems like extremely inconvenient if it can't be changed.

I have seen this too. Really annoying!

It does not happen when you use the native navigation app but only with CarPlay.

Hopefully there is a fix soon.

Is there anywhere to report this directly to MG so they can raise with the support team?
