I got my brand new ZS Hybrid+ 5 days ago and just noticed that on the passenger side under dashboard, floor panel carpet is short (or cut), not covering screws and bits. There are one screw with cap while another two poking out with no cap. I am concerned it may hurt passenger’s feet. See attached photo.
My VW Golf Station is well covered in that area.
I asked dealer about it but he hasn’t come back to me yet. Is this common for this model?
Thanks heaps.

To the forum. 🙂👍

To be honest, can't see the dealer getting back to you for that. And if they do they'll just say it's normal. Also can't see your passengers catching their feet up their.
But if it really concerns you, put some decent tape over, it. Congrats on your new motor, enjoy!

I think Salty's reply has nailed it really, it looks perfectly normal to me, and probably to be expected from a less premium brand like MG. I'm sure another ZS Hybrid owner will be able to have a look at theirs, and comment later.

Thanks salty and Clive. The dealer finally came back after my follow-up calls and said it is normal. They also asked me to go to local service centre if I am really concerned. I will go with the tape solution.
