Hi

Looking at accessories and came across a UTube video for EVtrove and these seat covers caught my eye. Had anyone bought them or can you recommend any others?
Thanks

HI,

I initially ordered "those ones" however when they arrived the front seat covers had "Mulan" embroidered on them in a quite large font and they looked really cheap and tacky...
Even without the embroidery, the orange insets look pretty average in real life too...

I sent them back as they weren't as described (they were shown like in your picture). The vendor tried to change my mind by saying they'd only charge me for the rear seats and I could have the front ones for free.... Errr, No

I then bought these ones: -

from this "shop"

I got the black.

They actually look good and fit properly. It's a couple of hours job and would be much easier with 2 people but I did manage to do it by myself.

Cheers,
James

I have this set and they fit very well. I bought them BECAUSE they had the 'Mulan' logo as that is the correct & original name of the car. I'll take some photos later in the week. They are far better than I expected but take some time to fit properly, requiring a mirror and torch to connect the straps under the front seats. Look very good in my orange Xpower, version with the orange piping but other colours are also available.

Here is the link where I bought them:

Thanks for your reply. The orange piping looks really nice especially as you have an orange car. If they had MG4 logo on them that would be OK.

I also got this set in black/orange with "Mulan" logo on the front seats. They fit great although did take some time to install properly - skinned my knuckle trying to install the hooks under the front seats but hey-ho. They looks very original and feel very comfortable after fitting - much more than the original seats.

Here you go

There is also another piece for the arm rest but I didn't use it as I already have another one installed that it's much better fitting.

Overall having used them for several days now they really do feel great and very much more comfortable.

Thanks for the pics. I find the drivers seat a bit uncomfortable and hard and bought a seat cushion but its too thick and messes up the drving position.

They look like they are a decent fit. We're they hard to put on and do they give much extra padding? Many thanks

This is the first set of seat cover I installed so retains difficult to compare. However they are tight fittings so a bit of "tugs & pull" is required but not too difficult m. It did take over an hour to get a good fit though.

As mentioned they do provide some good extra padding making the seat much more comfortable.

I like the set as it retains the original look. I even like the "Mulan" accent, a nod to the original design.
