Seat Covers for MG4

I'm not that surprised. I always saw them as sacrificial, with the main purpose of protecting the real upholstery. Here's what mine looked like when they were new.

I've sent an inquiry about purchasing just the seat pad piece.

I have an update on the seat cover issue. I contacted the seller through AliExpress and asked if they could supply just the seat cushion part. He said yes, sent me an invoice for £23.20 ($25) which I paid, and hopefully the item will arrive.

I never saw these things as being very durable, and it's lasted two years. It's only that one piece, so being able to replace that without buying anything else still makes it a good deal in my opinion.

The comfort is in knowing that the car's own upholstery isn't wearing (or even getting dirty) at all.

I've ordered two for the front seats a couple of days ago. Post man has out a notice through letterbox today saying a customs charge of £43.76 must be paid before parcel can be delivered. Not sure if this is the seats as it seems way to soon for them to be here. Anyone else had this? I need to rule out the parcel being the seats

Yes it seems too soon. My last order from AliExpress was delivered by Evri

Ordered from AliExpress, other things I've bought from them have been delivered by Evri. It's not a scam as I've spoken to the post office and it's legitimate. They couldn't tell me what it was. As you say can't be the seat covers as it's way to quick.

I've been given an estimated delivery date of 28th June for my seat cushion cover, and I've never had to pay anything extra for anything from AliExpress. Glad you got to the bottom of your mystery!

I've now been given a delivery window of 27th May to 28th June, so we'll see. I'm not even sure if I'll replace the worn piece immediately - depends on how embarrassed I feel!

The covers have arrived today, each one has indentations on them were the foam backing is missing. Images below, did you have issues with yours?

I have contacted the seller and they told me they are creases from transport and will disappear after two to three weeks of use. Time will tell. I'll fit one and see how it goes.

I agree, I think that will be fine when it's fitted.

My replacement seal cushion cover arrived yesterday, pretty quick service. It's pouring with rain though, so I haven't done anything about it yet.
