Selective charging....

I was down to about 50 miles re the GOM, so had to charge to get home.

The Brecon MFG charger was the nearest charger, so I made my way to the Morrisons car park.

Two MFG chargers on one stand, hooked up, and it went through the connection cycle, but ended up charge aborted. I tried again with a different debit card, and the same thing happened again. I also tried the 2nd charger lead.

Gave up and went for a coffee.

On my return, a Tesla rolled up, we had a brief conversation about the charger, but the driver tried anyway.

And it worked for the Tesla.....................

I did try again, theoretically locking up £45 a try, £180 for the 4 attemps...No phone number to ring..., not impressed..

Thanks for that. I shall store their phone number.

I have emailed them asking what I was doing wrong...

I was able to make it to another rapid charger on the A470, with14 miles tp spare.

Just wonder why the Tesla was able to charge, and not me. It is not the first time MFG have let me down....
