Given I’d set up an MG service plan on my previous MG (4 x power) which was pretty much 2 years in, had its first service last March and the direct debits had been tipping away so I’d built up a credit and looked into the options with the new car.
Basically if you have a service plan and change your car yo have two options, cancel the plan and MG will refund any credit balance less an admin fee (£30) or transfer the whole balance to a new plan, the entire credit coming off the new plan as an upfront payment.
I went for the transfer option, set up a new 3year plan, locked in the price, worked out a £7 a month, I’m happy with that.
