Service plan - is it worth it?

The price of service plans seems to vary enormously. I pay £7.52 pcm for a four year plan. £360 in total. No MOT’s, but MG Assist automatically renewed. It is tied to that dealership, but it’s been okay so far.

The price of service plans seems to vary enormously. I pay £7.52 pcm for a four year plan. £360 in total. No MOT’s, but MG Assist automatically renewed. It is tied to that dealership, but it’s been okay so far.

The price of services varies enormously too. My local MG dealership wanted to charge me £50 more than I got it done for by traveling 30 miles to Bath. My local dealer also wanted to charge me for the Tesla update, and Bath did it for free.

I also keep the money in a cash ISA, getting interest each month and pay for the service from this.
