On my way on one of my favourite roads to do a bit of shopping, I was cut up by a Renault Twingo , most likely a 980 cc 90bhp version cutting in from the left when he should have gave way ( dubious junction ) . Right yer bugger I'll have you ! Off he went , ruddy hell that's nippy , narrow bumpy bendy road , great traction , tracking the bends like on rails , he was gaining several metres every bend . After 4 kms he was about 300 metres ahead when we came to a T junction, cheeky bugger waited for me then turned left , ah ah same direction I want, wider smoother road , advantage moi ! No ! this is not happening , same again , gone has he, Deflated , defeated, after another 6km he has pulled out another 500m. This is the same road I've kept up with Golf GTIs and the like. Through the next village , baulked by traffic I caught up , Absolutely standard Twingo ( there are two hot versions) so I doffed my cap to the guy.
Sulking in the aisles of Lidl I thought I would commiserate later with a beer or two. What's this Steam Brew Imperial stout . Don't normally get this in France . Wow , a revelation , after 18 years of blond beers a stonker , things are starting to brighten up . Well recommended , another two and what Twingo.
