Anyone successfully buy and fit a space saver wheel. Going by the diameter of the one I have for my jeep. I think with some modification to the polystyrene holder in the boot we might be able to fit one 🤔

You can buy a space saver wheel but can you carry it safely in the boot? The spare wheel well on the hybrid + has been used by MG in their wisdom for the 12v battery and "charger" It is a repeated topic that many drivers would like the security of a spare wheel, especially if travelling in the countryside. Why will MG not listen to drivers concerns and make the space available. Has any member managed to secure a space saver spare under the polystyrene block? if you have I am sure many members would be interested, me included.

Yeh just had a look . All sorts of wires and boxes under the polystyrene tray . I’ve emailed the wheel company for the diameter of the space saver . If it’s over 27 inches then it won’t do . I can cut some of the polystyrene away from the sides . It looks deep enough to fit the space saver . Will keep you all posted . £129 for the space saver .
