Supagard paint and interior protection

Hello,

based on this thread Paint protection , I understood that it's better to pick up an independent dealer that performs this job.
So, I'd take the car, then after they give me the slot I'll bring it to the garage, I hope asap...
Any recommendation before the job gets done? Like don't apply a wax etc, but in case it's not even waxed by the dealer, I'd say why not.

Anyone you would recommend in Liverpool area?

How long does it take?

How long is supposed to last? I see a lifetime everywhere but what does that mean?
