I'm finding the suspension a bit harsh on our pot-hole ridden roads could this be due to the larger wheels on the Trophy LR as I notice others have found it to be too soft on other MG models.

After one month still finding the control screen a bit confusing and feel I need to sit down and explore all of the functions and probably do a spread sheet type layout.

Boot size: found I need to take my driver out of the golf bag to fit in crossways.

Anybody have experience on how long the Bridgestone tyres last? My RAV did 40K on driving front tyres.

Couple of things, the battery makes the car very heavy and I don't think they upgraded the suspension.
The front tyres on my car last 20-25k miles I think (ymmv as they say), combination of weight and front wheel drive.
The rear tires will last much longer.
The Bridgestones that came on my car were awful, loud and short lived. Since I don't pay for tyres I now get Michelin Primacy 4s all round.
