A comment in another thread got me thinking so doing some research.
I’ll get the tape measure out shortly. Not having got my S6 yet I'd be interested to know what height floor to upper most part of tailgate measurements are for each of the positions? Think floor to avoiding hitting a low multi-storey carpark roof... TIA
I was also about to, but it's pi**ing down with rain atm, so happy if someone else do it!I’ll get the tape measure out shortly.

Good stuff, but as Brucie had a Tricoat coming you'll need to add a couple of microns for the extra paint.
White does look rather good, got some full body shots?
Did you remove the aero-dynamic (possibly pointless) plastic bits off your wheels? Do you have to jack the car up to do it?

You have to take the wheels off, they are bolted on with the mounting points being part of the cast wheel, removing the covers leaves IMPO a messy wheel.Did you remove the aero-dynamic (possibly pointless) plastic bits off your wheels? Do you have to jack the car up to do it?
Think they are indeed different wheel possibly due to them needing a second set of tyres for winter.Having actually looked at the photo, they are different wheels, aren't they!!
Ignore me, I'll be in the corner with my coat over my head....
Those are not the original rims. I've got the originals for the summer tyres, and these OZ rims for the winter tyres.Did you remove the aero-dynamic (possibly pointless) plastic bits off your wheels? Do you have to jack the car up to do it?

Dealers offer a 2nd set, but you are free to buy it yourself, and most will include the 2nd set when they sell the car again, but it's not mandatory to include them.I know it's standard on the Continent to have complete set of winter tyres and rims, but do dealers sell a second set as "options" or do you have to buy them separately? Do you sell them as part of the sale? No problem, just curious![]()
