Does anyone else think that the Pilot could do better? Whilst it is amazing in traffic jams at really low speeds staying within lane. It really struggles at cruse speeds.
1. Inconsistent curves. Whilst some are OK, on some it slows really aggressively. It's not even regen, braking is so hard that I'm 99.9% sure it uses mechanical brakes.
2. Struggles with passing by the trucks. Here braking is really bad as well, but I actually had Autopilot disconnect twice on today's trip.
3. Lane change is atrocious. No cars in front or behind for ~150 - 200 yards, straight road and good light condition without rain or other interference. Changing from outer to middle lane, whilst crossing the lane marks on the GUI they turn red and the car swerves back.
With lane change having at best ~50% success rate, it'd be grate to be able to manually change the lane without disengaging the Pilot.
What are your experiences?
