Tesla deposits refund problem

I put a deposit on a cybertruck and now it’s confirmed it won’t be coming to the uk

I’m trying to get my deposit back but the website is ridiculous and there is a phone number with a machine that literally is designed to make you go round in circles until you give up

To be honest, I never expected the Cybertruck to come to the UK at all ... not without huge changes, as the current design doesn't comply with EU/UK vehicle safety requirements.

I'd try either your credit card or bank, depending how you paid the deposit for a refund.

Let's not start discussing his merits/demerits, but the basic reason is that a big chunk of people like him and many more people separate their purchases from who owns/runs the company. I am not a fan of the CCP but that didn't stop me buying an MG EV.

Doesn't mean his products are crap, everyone on here with an MG seems to have no issues giving money to the Chinese government, as SAIC is state owned, who have done a lot worse than hurt some people's feelings on social media.
