In a country where the vast majority of cars are of French or German origin it was two and a half years ago and a minor consideration when choosing a new vehicle. Should I go with the crowd, or save myself a few grand and suffer the embarrassment of both electric and Chinese ownership. Today I parked next to a Tesla model Y and thought, well at least my money went to a country no longer at the bottom of the bucket in world terms and the slight sneers of my adopted countrymen were no longer directed in my direction. Funny how things turn out!!!
