Thatcham Category of Cyberster Alarm?

Does anyone know the Thatcham Category of the alarm in the Cyberster and where it is documented? My insurance quote has an exclusion and I can't find the details in the Cyberster Owners Manual?

Did you get an answer on this as I've just got an insurance quote for my car coming next week and they state on the policy that unless it's a Cat 1 alarm, you're not covered for it being stolen?

I contacted MG who wrote back to say it is Thatcham Research approved but did not confirm the category. I found the information on the Thatcham web site, it is Cat. 1.

Great, thank you. I went to a different insurer in the end that did not ask about Cat numbers and got a better deal anyway.
