Oh wow, the wheels are a pain to wash on the MG S5 EV 😆

I used a fallout remover, which worked well on stubborn dust, I can't see these rims taking acid well at all!

Any reliable, robust cleaners people have had luck with?

And how do you get those plastic inserts out between spokes?

Trophy Trim, 18" I think. There are 5 plastic 'paddles' is what I'd describe them as, between spokes. It's a 'diamond cut' alloy, black paint inside, bare metal on the face.
Ahh right, I know what you mean, similar to the Tesla ones.

I'd imagine they're a similar arrangement, but one of our MGS5 owners may know > Tesla Aero Trims.

Had never occured to me, of course, much less braking so much less dust!

That's one upside 🤣

I think I'll just have to settle for the fact I'll hardly ever be able to get to the wheel barrels on this one, I hated the task anyway 😁

I can use a small angled wheel woolie as I think they are called for the bits that are open.

Once that's done you can't see into the barrel much anyway, so out of sight out of mind I guess.

I used Bilt Hambar Touchless at 2% solution in a garden sprayer followed by a good jet wash at the weekend for the first time to wash the car including the wheels. They and the car came up great, although if I was going to dry the car afterwards I would still want to do a contact wash.
