AND one can use the convenience at one’s leisureI love the come back with how electricity doesn't really smell as it refills the tank on the way down the hill, and how good it feels driving past a fuel station. When they come out with the cost and how slow it is to recharge the battery, I agree that it takes all day sometimes .... but then, the sun is free, so I put up with the inconvenience .....

Very true, I love driving my ev I believe I was the 1st beer delivery by ev in Australia cases only if delivery requires kegs I have to use the Vw transporterI have kept the same approach for years now. Whatever silly anti EV bingo claim they come up with, just agree, it usually encourages them to come up with even more silly claims which you should also agree with (and laugh yourself silly inside). I mean they are paying a huge amount of tax through their fuel purchases and are driving smelly nasty vehicles (just try driving an ICE car after having an EV for a while, it really surprises me how bad they are). I have had an EV for getting on 9 years now, and fully appreciate how much ICE drivers contribute to the countries financies, and am happy to let them keep on paying.

And felt like a mile wider too - but I’d settle for a Maxi, nice car.Unfortunately not mate, the Landcrab (Austin 1800/2200) was about 6 inches longer than the Maxi.
Yes the Maxi was a nice car, it was actually a big step up from the 1800/2200, much posher, and the 1750 engine was very nice. And felt like a mile wider too - but I’d settle for a Maxi, nice car.
