True top speed?

Hi, looking forward to picking up my S5 on Saturday 9th and was wondering what the actual top speed is as I have seen 101 / 102 / 109 and 118. I think the manual states just over 100mph.

I know people obviously won't have done this speed on the roads as it's would be illegal but does anyone think it is much above 100mph?

101 mph. Apparently. That's probably about right. Most EVs don't tend to have a high top speed.

Thanks and judging by the comments I think about the only minor issue should be what to do with the spare emergency key.

It's restricted for all UK vehicles to 102mph but I've never felt the need to test this.
Non UK is118mph for the more powerful motor and 106 for the less. No idea why there should be a difference.

I imagine it might have something to do with the vast weight of EV's according to the fossil fuel brigade, any faster and they might play havoc with the earths rotational speed.
