Not a MG specific question, but is it true that a tyre cannot be repaired if tyre sealant has been used?

As per above, it can be repaired. However repair places consider it not cost-effective for them to do it as they have to clean out all the gunk first before they can do a proper repair. By the time they've added the cost of doing that then the cost-differential vs a new tyre becomes marginal in many cases.

Also depends on which sealant as they are not all formulated the same.
