I'll lose interest at some point!! It's just there are some good threads on the go at the minute@salty has to battle with you first.![]()
Most likely they couldn't get enough from their supplier so shipped without them. Has happened many times before with a variety of manufacturers. It seems odd that MG would make two different seats, one with magnets and one without.![]()
Happened with some early SR MG4:a they shipped them with the tinted windows (which they shouldn't have had) and some had auto dimming rear view mirrors, which would have been good but they didn't connect them upMost likely they couldn't get enough from their supplier so shipped without them. Well, especially because the dealers are still telling people there are magnets in the car and a range of accessories will follow...However, I do think if a part is not included - for any reason - owners should be compensated in some way so that they don't feel they are missing out.
A lot of MG dealers just care about sales unfortunately and don't really worry about what happens nextWell, especially because the dealers are still telling people there are magnets in the car and a range of accessories will follow...
The problem is that they see the logos, and assume the magnets are there, and I must admit, I think I'd assume the same thing. It's a pretty clear case of mis-selling, though, if they keep stating this, when there are no magnets. I am not sure they actually realise themselves because I have heard it from three different dealers.
