Hi,

Has anyone successfully updated the navigation on the Hybrid+ ZS?

I’ve read online that I can do it via USB but equally seen that only the dealer can do it. I’ve also read that it can be done OTA (over the air) via the app.

If I put the USB in, the files transfer over but the software they say to use just doesn’t pick up the USB stick even though the laptop can see it.

Looking online I’ve seen many posts but no real solutions?

Same problem here, living in Belgium. Brand new ZS Hybrid+. The files from the car transfer to USB, but the download tool from navietrax does not recognize it.

Although you can't transfer and update, have you actually found any files online to update the nav system?

If so, where from?

I had the same problem with my USB drive so I contacted Naviextras support and this was their reply:

"Thank you for sending us the requested synctool folder and please accept our apologies for the long response time.

Based on the data in your synctool folder, we would like to inform you that, as requested by the manufacturer of your navigation system, your navigation device model is not supported by the Naviextras map update solution anymore.
Map and other content updates are now handled directly through authorized MG dealerships."

So it looks like the onboard nav system is not user updateable.
I mostly use Google maps but like to keep the onboard system up to date for those no signal times.
