If there is a 5% VAT reduction , as has been mooted, will dealers pass that on or simply increase the price that the lower VAT will be applied to, so the end cost to the customer is the same.

Instavolt would take some flak if they didn't reduce price fully as their recent price increase email stated that if VAT was reduced to 5% then their price would reduce to 58p per kWh from 66p.The reality is likely to be in the middle I'd have thought.
These things are invariably used as an opportunity for profiteering.
