Well it’s back! After first encountering this vehicle control system fault on my 2023 XPower back in June 24 when the dealer did some updates and unplugged and reconnected some modules it’s now back and more annoying than ever.

Power limited to 9% with accelerator pressed to the floor, take your foot off and the vehicle seems to maintain its speed or continue accelerating there’s no regen brake, no brake assist, it also won’t charge when this fault is on. Shows -1% power when coasting or braking. Sometimes it’s on for seconds, sometimes up to 15-20mins then it’ll just disappear. Speed limit removed pops up and then it’ll drive perfectly normally until the next time. Might only do it once on a journey, last night it did it 7 times on the way to the shop. Picked it up from the dealer yesterday who couldn’t find any fault with it, no codes stored, no fault found yet within 30mins it was back on again. Had to wait over a month to get it in last time and they’ve booked it in again on the 12th Jan but not holding out much hope.
Any suggestions?

Very true indeed. They seem obsessed with the fact there’s no codes stored so there must be no fault. I actually videoed my drive to work yesterday where it came and went 11 times in a 15 minute journey. It’s intermittent which is annoying as it didn’t do it at all on the way home. If it’s setting the message you’d think it would store a code somewhere. I’ve a feeling it’s something loose, corrosion in a connector or something corrupting the canbus data.
The place I have to take it in booked solid with warranty work which kind of says a lot in itself.
