My mum wouldn't say shitte for a shilling, so I can't even imagine it, but she did repair holes in socks for while, till it became more a waste of effort when socks became so cheap.Anyone remember their Mum, darning.

I see you have "little boys" over there as well, but ours are red skinned, still a mystery regarding the contents though, but they are favourite for kids parties and the occasional quick munchie food when drinks don't include a BBQ .....Chicken and Bacon pasta, with an Egg, Chicken bites, Cocktail sausages and a Mature Cheddar slice.

I bought an air fryer and tried it for a few weeks. But I just found it a bit awkward or footery as we say here. I’ve passed it on to my Daughter.Last night was Bacon Carbonara with chopped up fresh vegies added, well, the second night of it, cause it was two Aldi quick cook packets and even between the two of us, we can't put away the volume @Black estate seems to be able to consume in one sitting![]()
Tonight is beef and red wine pies and mushy peas with air fried potato wedges cooked up with the Aldi pies making the transition from frozen to steaming hot and the lid separating so the mushy peas can go straight into the pie, then the lid back on and the remained of the mushie peas over the top .... If it weren't for Aldi quick to cook food .... I'd probably lose weight

They are the microwave for the older generation. Maybe you had a "Hard to get on with" unit, our unit couldn't be easier if it tried and cooks everything you might think about cooking in an oven or under a grill.I bought an air fryer and tried it for a few weeks. But I just found it a bit awkward or footery as we say here. I’ve passed it on to my Daughter.
