Search the forum, handbook and brochures and found no mention. What charging cables are suppled?

Knowing MG. Probably none. Think it's up to the buyer to negotiate. Think you would get them both it you did. They ain't gonna lose a big sale for a couple of cables.
Ta, but I am looking for facts not suppositions.

I'll believe the OTA updates when I see them. Too many broken promises from MG (bit like the semi-solid state battery promises).
Can you please try and keep this thread on the subject. If you want to talk about your unsupported claims about OTA updates start your own thread,

Rude. You brought it up in the quote.
Not being rude at all. This thread is about charging cables and the link goes to a FB page that has an answer about cables. The OTA bit in that quote is simply the way the links are shown. On the FB page it states a new owner sates "Both the granny cable (for home charge if you don’t have a wall charger) & the cable (I’ve never used on an EV
😁
) you’d would use to plug in at say a pod charger etc."

Most threads go for a wander on this forum, it's one of the reason it's one of the better EV forums. And @tsedge was merely pointing out, as an early adopter of the mg4, that OTA was advertised for that and it has never materialised.

And until such times as it's confirmed in the UK I would take it with a pinch of salt (I do hope it does as with the launch of IM models it needs it or it will trail it's rivals)

And your answer might not have been rude but it wasn't exactly cheery and friendly, there are also moderators for keeping chats on topic

Hi, phone a couple of MG dealers and ask what leads they supply.
Also ask about floor mats and if they charge it to 100% before you collect it.

I just picked up an MGS5 EV that was supplied with a normal home socket cable. I had to pay extra for a CCS2 cable, or V2L adaptor.
Thank you. The dealer I spoke to said the IM6 comes with the standard type 2 cable but no 3 pin (granny) cable.

My car came with the 3kW type that plugs into a house hold socket (220v). A 20 Amp breaker is preferable. I haven’t used it yet, and according to Murphy’s Law, if I continue to carry it, I’ll never need it. 😉
The included wall supply has the supply cable already attached.

I bought from a UK dealer and they supposedly ‘chucked in’ a free charging cable. Nothing to sing home about though, it’s a Galaxy cable.

A lot of car companies have stopped providing the granny charger. When I got my Tesla it was part of the deal.
When I went to enquiry about the new Model Y the granny charger is now optional.
