Mine arrived inflated well above the recommended 37PSI. I've never had a car need 37PSI before and I've never had a car with only one pressure listed on the door plate for all conditions!

Mine was delivered with 43+ (!) and it was quite a harsh ride on your typical pothole-ridden UK road - I've since dropped it to the recommended 37 and the ride is noticeably much better, unsurprisingly.

Over-inflation during transport is common and helps to prevent flat spotting but it should be corrected as part of the PDI. I checked mine the day after I picked up my car and they were a bit high also. The car seems very happy at 37psi.

That was the complaint I had with my dealer, I don't think PDI was done at all. I suspect it was a case of wash it, stick my plate on and put it in the showroom. The tyres were at 43psi all round, software not updated and some plastics still covered with protection film. This is why it's going back in September for a proper software update and check over and I have told them this time I expect a properly completed PDI form not just a line struck through all the checks!
