What you having for your Tea/Dinner, tonight. ?

Vegetarian lasagne for us tonight.

Quite a faff but it is a favourite of mine and pebbles and I've got a portion leftover for my lunch tomorrow as a bonus.
Stick a stamp on it and send it over - sounds delish.
I was up for a walk to the Falkirk Wheel a few days ago and they had many wonderful roasted veggies in a pasta dish - ace 👌

Pity my poor son. The overheated laddie is sat in his RAM truck, full aircon, eating his lunch (could be a burrito) somewhere south of Death Valley. There’s no road, just sand, rocks and the ever present threat of rattlesnakes so he has to tog up with boots, Kevlar snake proof gaiters and heavy duty trousers 🥵

It’s around 36°C in Victorville but he’s somewhere between there and Las Vegas surveying for new electric lines.

I've been veggie since 1991 but I have absolutely no beef (pun intended) against people who eat meat. Heck, I cook it every day for my family!

There are many wonderful veggies and lots of fantastically tasty veggie dishes that are well worth celebrating and they can be a great accompaniment to meat, or can equally be enjoyed on their own.

I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years now. Girlfriend at the time was militant (and scary), we broke up but I never went back to meat. Was a massive meat eater before that.

Pebbles suddenly decided to become a pescatarian a few years ago. She already eschewed lamb because she felt for the little things. We make and eat most meals together so she rarely has fish these days.

I try to reduce dairy as well for environmental reasons but the lasagne is a bad example there - full of milk and cheese!

I’ve been veggie for about 40 years. Doesn’t seem to have done me any harm! Oat milk in my coffee, soya milk in my porridge, but it has to be dairy milk in a cheese sauce for a roasted vegetable lasagne. I tried to like it made with non-dairy alternatives, but it really wasn’t good.

Very quick dinner tonight - stir fry veggies with lentil noodles, a few chunks of Quorn and teriyaki sauce.

Yum 👌

Early dinner during my walk today. Thai green curry at the Kelpies cafe. Very tasty it was too. View attachment 38511
Nope it’s the view from over the canal. Turn the camera a few degrees to the right and see the cafe the food vans and the boat someone berthed there around Covid time
