Corned Beef, yum. :)
Cooked up in a pot with enough liquid to cover it. Cup of brown vinegar, cloves pressed into the outside of the meat (not the pot) level tablespoon of brown sugar and an onion cut in half to absorb the salt.
Sliced while still hot and severed with steamed greens, mashed potato and parsley white sauce ..... I'm hungry for it now and I've only just had my fruit toast for breakfast .....

If you had used half those carrots in a spring door cage trap, you could have under ground mutton for tomorrow nights tea, and bait for the crab trap ....

When I was working, I'd mush up a tin of corned beef in a bowl, mix in a couple of chopped onions, then keep it in the fridge for my sarnies for about 3 days, bloody lovely. 🥪
Reminds me of an improvised dinner I made just the other day using leftovers.
You could use that mix in the bottom of a pie type dish, add a few beans, I used baked, add a touch of gravy to it and cover with mashed potato. Cook/microwave appropriately, maybe sprinkle some grated cheese for the last while, and voila, corned beef pie. :)

No its not
Ah, get it now, Spam is sort of ham in a can, and the corn beef is beef in a can, do they make mutton in a can and rabbit in a can? About the only fish in a can I'll eat is quality sardines, salmon and tuna is cat food as far as I'm concerned.

But, I do love the Fray Bentos pie in a can, cooked up in the air frier, my first experience with this delicacy was back in the days of Tour Motorbike traveling because it was easy to put on the fire, dehydrated peas and my one and only try of Deb instant potato, probably half way through a bottle of port by that stage and it still tasted like finely ground cardboard .....
