Where were Huey & Luey, were they fast enough to get away, or are they stuck under the car?
Do you have that camera position that checks under the car when you are driving?

Early morning Dew. If me car's relatively clean and it's gonna be a nice day, I'll wipe it over. 🙂👍 As for the Camera, doesn't everyone. 😉🙄🤪

Apparently tonight will be the first full moon of spring, and is known as a Worm Moon. Us here in Scotland are supposed to be able to see it in all its glory. :)

The Worm Moon is the name given to the full moon in March, which signifies the arrival of spring as earthworms begin to emerge from the thawing ground. In 2026, it coincides with a total lunar eclipse, also known as a Blood Moon.

It's been beautiful today with plenty of sunshine, there was even some warmth in after weeks & weeks of incessant rain & grey skies. It's only been 12C today but felt marvellous sat in the garden repotting tomato seedlings.

Cold start, lack of cloud cover but glad to see it, S6 benefitted from a top up from surplus solar I cut the back garden and got the gas guzzler ready for the road.

I intend to cut mine today, three people in our local vicinity did theirs yesterday. :)
And they didn't come over and mow your lawn for you as well .... not very neighbourly of them ..... send you dog over to place a deposit on their freshly mown lawn to let them know the dog isn't happy with them either ;)

Early morning is generally due after night has finished it's turn in the day/night cycle, no idea what that has to do with the car washing though o_O

It's to stop water spots appearing on a freshly washed car and keep it's "just washed" look for another day.

But as a self confessed lover of nature's car wash it's not something you'd worry about 😁

Well to be fair, they weren't immediate neighbours, two were in the adjoining street, and the third was in the street behind us, otherwise the hound would have been released (if I had one). 🐕

It's a mess here in Northern Norway now. It's been really cold for 2 months straight, (-10 to - 25) with not much snow to insulate, and now it's turned mild with rain, so there are massive ponds of water everywhere, as the ground is frozen solid at least 2 meters down so there is little to no drainage.

It's nice and sunny here again today (for now at least). A neighbour has lots of solar on his roof - he said he generated 21 kWh yesterday - so much in fact that he put 9 kWh into his Citroen 8-seater "bus", filled his home battery and was exporting to the grid. :)

Solar wouldn't do much up here, but I'm considering installing turbines in the gutters. 🤣

Hydro generator in the down pipes? Solar works great in the snow if you can position the panels to take advantage of the reflection..... possibly a case for vertical double sided panels ..... Anywhere near water when there is light scattered cloud will get better solar that someone further inland, the sun reflects off the water, onto the clouds and back down again giving the solar panel a double dose
