Wheel trims

I have a 23 plate long range ZS , I have to admit to the fact it took me a while to realise the “ alloy” wheel trims were in fact plastic! Now “ bubbles “ have appeared on said plastic, as if the top layer is peeling. Is this a common fault ? Will I get them replaced under warranty? Thanks

It definitely seems a common fault with them, Club Member crazy8888 had them replaced under warranty, see this thread > Wheel trim top coat peeling off.

Try asking your dealer to replace under warranty but I'm not optimistic. When time comes to sell the car or earlier if you wish, repaint them.
