This may be a stupid question, but I have the car eSIM connected to the world of IP and my iPhone is connected to the car both by cable and WiFi.*

My Vodafone SIM has unlimited data, whereas I understand that the eSIM is limited to 1Gb.

How can I be sure that if, for example, I watch YouTube in the car, the data is coming from my mighty account and not from MG's weedy one?

If I just don't understand, please be gentle with me...

*(Inductive charging is just too slow and unreliable for me, it's more effort to get the phone in just the right pace and keep it there than it is to plug in Lightning).

You can turn off the WiFi and the hotspot on the car so your phone will only connect via Bluetooth and the cable if using the data port. The onboard esim is I belive for updates and the satnav real-time traffic
