wind and road noise

It's a drumming noise which I think is generated from the road noise and resonates in the cabins plastic trim. I have started putting sound insulation in the boot spare wheel well (now battery) as it was just bare metal, will now be waiting for better weather before continuing, will be moving the mic. which records the sound around to see if there is any change. The test is done when I go to the local supermarket 2.3 miles form me and at 30 MPH ( 48.3 KMP). Will post any interesting results here.

My MG3 Hybrid+ Trophy is now 2 months old and it is very noisy even in town. It would be good to know how the GERMAN ADAC test were done as in was the 3 HYBRID+ Reading an average or Max. In town my readings are 81DB+ Max and 68DB+ Average, so I want to get that much lower. As Pete asked at the start of the thread has anyone been able to lower the cabin noise level?????
Thanks Dave.
How can it be noisy in town? It almost always runs in electric mode.

Thanks Pat
Still getting used to the car and what it does and doesn't, but so far it it running more on HEV and short runs on EV and was going to post a question on what EV power range is normal?, I only do short runs with every now and again 28 miles down the Motorway to our caravan.

Can you not try someone else's 3 to compare ? Or go to another MG dealer and test drive one ?
In town mine is almost silent up to 30 mph, even with the engine running for the heating. Any faster though and the din starts. Although I do feel it's a lot quieter in winter than in the summer
